Throughout its history, Peerless Consulting Ltd. has sucessfully completed over 1200 projects of various sizes and complexity. Here is a sampling of recent projects:


Dr. Georges L Dumont Regional Hospital
Pharmacy Clean Room and Lab: upgrade to the existing oncology centre with the addition of two new clean rooms, complete with specialized type B2 Biological Safety Cabinets for the production of chemotheraphy drugs.
Isolation rooms upgrade: Upgrade to the existing isolation rooms within the facility that no longer met the current standards for isolation room ventilation. Dialysis satellite building installation: the installation of HVAC and dialysis plumbing installation, including reverse osmosis purification system and distribution in as satellite treatment building.

Edmundston Regional Hospital Oncology department renovations: the complete renovation of an existing hospital nursing unit into an oncology treatment department, including HVAC, controls, plumbing and medical gas.
MRI unit: the installation of a new MRI unit in an addition to the hospital, including HVAC, plumbing and medical gas.

Miramichi Regional Hospital Complete EMCS controls retrofit of the entire hospital, a 3 year project to replace old obsolete controls with state of the art DDC controls.

Rexton Nursing Home and Community Health Centre
A 45 bed nursing home for which Peerless Consulting Ltd. Was retained to do the entire mechanical and fire protection systems. The Community Health Centre was a LEED project.

Jodin Nursing Home
An 180 bed nursing home for which we designed the entire mechanical and fire protection system. The project included the design of a heating plant for the large facility. The boilers are a combination of biomass and oil- fired boilers.


NBCC Moncton
Three projects at this community college: a new classroom block for which we were responsible to do the entire mechanical and fire protection systems. A new wood working shop renovation, complete with central dust collection system and finally, a new state of the art welding shop, complete with centralized welding dust collection system.

NBCC Saint John Energy Building
A LEED facility that can be best described as a teaching lab. The facilities included chemical laboratories, materials science and electronics labs. Also included in the building was a second boiler room where 2 steam boilers and a natural gas turbine were installed for the training of stationery engineers.

Fredericton North Elementary School
A new LEED elementary school. Peerless designed the entire mechanical and fire suppression systems.

Moncton North Elementary School
A new LEED kindergarten to 8th grade elementary school in Moncton, NB. Again, Peerless Consulting Ltd. was responsible for the mechanical and fire protection.

Riverview School
A LEED silver facility. We designed the HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

École de la valée de Kennebecasis
A new LEED kindergarten to 8th grade elementary school in Quispamsis, NB. The design involved propane-fired boilers, in-floor heating and air conditioning for the daycare area. Peerless Consulting Ltd. was responsible for the mechanical and fire protection.


Saint John Lawcourts
A LEED Silver facility for the new provincial court in Saint John, NB. The six storey building is a state of the art facility with the latest technology in HVAC, Controls and Fire Protection. The involvement of Peerless Consulting Ltd. in this project included ventilation, controls and fire protection.

Saint John Hyundai Dealership
A small car dealership in Saint John, NB, we were responsible of all the mechanical systems for the building, including the fire protection.


J.D. Irving Group
Deersdale Saw Mill Heating Plant


Centre E.P. Sénéchal, Grand Falls, NB
A  full service arena with community / multi-purpose room, kitchen facilities, walking track and exercise room. Peerless was retained to design the entire mechanical system, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning as well as fire protection, plumbing. The mechanical design of the facility involved interfacing with the ice plant for energy recovery. Waste heat from the ice plant was re-used for the snow melting pit, the domestic water and the flood water pre-heat as well as heating loop for the bleachers seating area and for the de-humidification unit allowing the arena to operate 12 months out the year.

Grant Harvey Arena, Fredericton, NB
This arena had a double ice surface and walking track. Our involvement was with the design of the fire protection system and the plumbing in the facility.

Qplex, Quispamsis, NB
A full service arena with community room, walking track. Peerless provides the design for the fire protection and the plumbing systems in the facility. The plumbing was based on grey water recovery to improve the water efficiency of the building. In addition to using the grey water for the facility, it was also used for the ice surface flooding, resulting in superior quality ice.
